Alloy Vs Stainless

Aluminum or Stainless Steel Case: Which Watch Should You Buy?

Both materials have pros and cons to suit each person’s preferences.

One is cheaper material, does it mean it is inferior? depends on who you look at it and what characteristics you look at and need.

If you want a cheaper alternative, a polish finish with minimal scratching, nice and light and slim, then the Aluminium casing is the way to go.

With Stainless steel you will have a hardie, proven material that can be polished scratch resistance and will not break on impact. ( Are you that rough with a dress watch?) A downside is the weight if you are looking for something super light on your wrist.

Maybe you can do a combination of Alloy casing and stainless steel backing on the case. Is this the best of both worlds. The current range of the JFroC watches is a combination of Alloy case with a stainless steel back. Not too cheap not too expensive. Middle of the road I suppose.

What do you guys think?
